How do i get rid of this? (virus)

Question

So, i've never done this before but i was getting desperate. I really want to see "the dark knight" and my boyfriend hates going to the movies, so i knew there was a good chance that i would have to wait till it comes out on dvd. I got antsy and tried to watch it online now i have this HUGE sign on the wallpaper of my desktop that says "WARNING YOU HAVE A VIRUS! DOWNLOAD AN ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM"

I Have McAfee and it picked it up right away "fake virus.exe" (or something like that) and i had it removed but i still cant get rid of that warning. (yes i've changed my background)

youl probably have to go to a best buy and buy a anti virus thing from them. thats what my boyfreind gets for his laptop and it helps protect against all of that stuff. cuz i am constantly downloading movies and games.... etc.!
