How do i get rid of yahoo messenger once and for all?

It keeps saying that it cannot open the install somthing or otherwhen you use the add/remove tab on the control panal thing.

Go to control panel and add/remove programs click on it and you see the Yahoo Messenger and click remove. That's all.

If you cannot remove it through add/remove programs try this:

Go to my computer, local disk, program files (may ask if you want to show files, yes) scroll til you find the yahoo folder, open that and go to the messenger folder and delete it.
