How do i get rid of yellow stains of dog urine and odor?

i have two small dogs. and i just moved in to a house with light colored carpet and i would like to get rid of their markings. help?

I rent out the rug doctor carpet cleaner every 4 mnths or so.  

In between, I use the rug doctor's urine eliminator, leave in the carpet and place paper towels over the spot until all the urine is soaked and the paper towel dries.  Afterwards, Pour some vinegar and baking soda on it.  Scrub and blot.  

A good way to see if all the urine is removed is the sprinkle baking soda over your carpet.  If you see white urine spotches, clean with vinegar and baking soda again.

use the stuff for a steam cleaner mix with half water get a rag wet and scrub

you would be suprised it comes right out

the stuff in a green bottle for pet stains works best
