How do i get someone to leave me alone?

i have this "stalker" i guess u can call it. and he wont leave me alone. he calims to live in illinois and he cailms to be 16. but he told 3 different people 3 different ages. and he asked me out and i told him no nad he keeps calling my house. and hes rackin up the phone bill and i get yelled at for it. also i thionk that he is a pervert because he is ALWAYS talking about s*x and that kinda thing. also my friends sister is a police officer and she told me that his area code (815) is from texas.

if i were to call the cops, what can they do?

Is there anyway to block him from calling and texting me?

If he is really bugging you and you can't stand him first you should tell him that, but if it doesnt work, you should definitely tell the police. I think they can tell them to stfrom you and stuff. If you go to your phone settings you can block his number, but some phones [like mine] don't have that setting.

Just ignore him. He'll stop eventually. But tell your parents about it and get them to change your phone number. Also, stop going on the internet or at least change your email address. And delete your IM page.

Search online to find a way to change you caller ID#. Type in the information they request and place the call to the stalker. Change your caller ID to the local police department's phone number. Have a friend tell him that he is an officer at the police department, and tell him there has been complaints from (your name). Ask him what seems to be the problem, and assure him that if the calls continue, there will be charges filed. This works for me.

You get a restraining order when you reported him to the police. You then have to do it in court!!!! You may have to change cell phone and telephone numbers and also e-mail adress. It's ashame, that your stalker should waste his whole d**n time on bothering you!!!! He maybe lonely and need someone who will desire him, he may think you are interested in him, which you really are not. Your right, he is a pervert and needed help before he make a horrible mistake!!!!

well before you call the cops you should just explain to him that your phone bill is going up and that you think that it would be best if he stopped texting you and calling you. but if he refuses to listen to you request then you go to the police. they should be able to scare him into not calling or texting you

Well if you still live with you parents let them know what is going on. Call the phone company and see if they can block the number and if you are affraid call the cops and tell them. If you live in california you can get a temperary restraining order http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Injunction you may be able to do that wherever you are as well.

Tell him you already got a guy..  Or you could.. get one of those thingys were you have to stay a certain space apart. And i think getting the police involved would be good because they could make sure it doesnt go any further.. ??I dunno??

Can't you phone up the company that your telephone connection and ask them to bar the number? If you don't have the number just tell them that it's a 815 texas number, cos if you're in illiinois and know no one in texas then they'll just bar the number from texas :)

i think this is easy, take this as a adult case. next time you can get phone recorder, once he call, you just say " I really dont want hear anything from you, if you call again, I will dail 911 to solve all the problem i have" and hung up. Try give him a warming and record it.  next time he call again,  call 911 or your friends work in police dep. police will take arrest case, I think, but for sure, police will take care him if you call them.
