How do i get songs and pictures on my psp?

We're using a usb plug but all it says is to take stuff off the psp and onto the computer. How do we get stuff onto it?

Plug in your USB data cable and on your PSP goto USB connection in the first menu at the top. If you are using XP or Vista it will automatically install the drivers and it will auto run and give you a choice of what to do. Click open folder at the bottom.

From here you will have 1 folder and click it and it will than show more folders with labels such as music, movies, pictures and a few others. Drag your mp3 onto music and pictures into pictures.

Also make sure you have a flash card for your PSP.

There are many ways to customize and enjoy your PSP.

If you are trying to add pictures/videos/music, you simply plug the PSP into the computer through the USB cable(be sure to select USB mode on the psp first), or by inserting it's memory stick into your computer as well.

Once you navigate to the psp under "my computer" you can literally copy/paste what you want, to the appropriate folders(pictures/music/video). But with video, it is a bit more strict.

It is recommended to encode the videos to around 480x272 or less for the best results. You can do this for free by searching "pspvideo9". It is free media managing software for the PSP.

Its simple if you want pictures take the memory stick of your camera then insert it into the memory stick slot of the psp then go on the photo seciton of the psp and veiw your pictures once you have veiwed them take out the memory stick. Its that simple and if you want to keep the pictures then put your psps memory stick inside the camera memory stick slot then take the pictures and insert the stick in the cartridege. I dont know about music good luck on that.
