How do i get sponsored? (tennis)?

well ok im a 14yo guy and ive been playing for a while now, won a few tourneys,and i wanted to know how to get a sponsor...and hopefully someday land a contract...thanks

u need to win more tournaments n u w'd get sponsorship one day.u need not to look 4 them,but they'll look 4 u in the opposit.good luck.

agreed robert.  

Worry about your game first, sponsors will come.  It takes a little more than winning a few tournaments.  Chances are if you are good enough, they are going to find you.  if not...keep workin hard.

one thing you could do is to contact the sponsors and ask if you could be sponsored. i know being an age grouper is hard to maintain (because i used to be one) when it comes to equipment and budget for training...usually if you are not one of the seeded players, you'll have a hard time getting one.  also, the smaller budgeted sponsors could sponsor you like pro kennex, milo, etc. wilson, head and prince sponsors usually sponsors those who are on top but if they can see that you have potential they could also sponsor you but they will still observe your performance in the tournaments you join.

well.... Getting sponsored is a big ambition for a 14 year old..

the only way someone of your age would be sponsored is if they placed state/nationally in junior USTA tournaments.   Seeing as how the vast majority of college players aren't sponsored, I suggest you focus on your game before money and gear.  I would expect to see "how do I go pro" before "how do I get sponsored".
