I absolutely love straight hair, but when i get my hair as straight as it will go(using a straightener) it ends up curling a bit at the ends of my hair! my straightener goes up to 30 but i dont think thats an extreme problem.

plz, if you have an suggestions on what to use on my hair or any ideas on how to get it to stay straight that would be GREATLY appreciated!!!! thx!

  1. just before you straighten your hair apply a straightening creme or spray then after you can put a little hairspray on a brish and brush your hair

  2. i use Biosilk, which is a heat protectant, and it really helps my hair stay straight.

just make sure, when you are straightening, that you seperate your hair into at least two sections.it will help to get super straight hair.

also you could even try a little hair spray on the end of your hair.

just spray it on and brush it through so your hair doesn't get all stiff

  3. You could try chemically relaxing it. I do it myself with African Pride(when they do it at a salon it rebounds shortly after.) I'm mixed, but I only have the curls and color not the texture of 'black' hair and it seems not too damaging. Other than that, there are many conditioners that help straighten hair. Also, try to use a conditioner that helps your hair maintain moisture. If it gets dried out, it'll become frizzy again starting with the ends(which may be your issue.)

when i only ironed, i used herbal essences dangerously straight finishing spray. It does have a form of alcohol though. That's not good if your problem IS being unable to maintain moisture in the tips or for color treated hair(mine being relaxed, lightened, bleached, and dyed blue) as alcohol will dry it out slightly. But, if it is curly rather than being frizzy at the ends looking like curls then it's worth a try.

other than that powerful pomade haha!!

  4. that happens to me lol

i think its if u have really curly hair, the ends tend to just curl no matter what...

but sometimes if u turn the flat iron the opposite direction of the curl, it usually helps a lot

hairspray lightly misted then brushed thru hold well if ur hair gets curly thru the day...

  5. Well you can go get it permantly straight :]

also using straightning sprays before you straighten your hair works well to :]

  6. Perm the hair for straightness.  Do not put a lot of straightener or sprays to straighten the hair.  It will cause your hair to fall out.  If you have natural curly hair find a good stylist who can straighten curly hair (all stylist can't).

  7. Try using Conair straighteners.

I bought expensive gold ceramic plated ones and they worked horribly.

I have bought 3 of this one and do not want to ever switch to a different straightener:

As for serum, John Frieda's Extra Strength Anti-Frizz works pretty well. Right now, I'm using Sunsilk 'Captivating Curls' leave-in creme and Frekki Glossing Creme from Bath&Body works. My hair is pin straight.

Also, straighten your hair in sections by pinning it up. This helps a lot.

  8. The kiyoseki is the best straightner in the world trust me on this one.It can straighten and it can curl your hair if you want. And also when it hot outside your hair stays straight it will not frizz outside. This iron is also healthy for your hair.My hair is poofy frizzy SUPER curly and it works so good on my hair. I really cant live without it. To so see the commercial and reviews go to www.kstyler.com and if you have any questions you can always email me hope this helped.=)

  9. make sure that when you straighten your hair it is extremely dry....even a little humid will make your hair curl again!
