How do i get the color back in my shirt to its original color?

i have a black shirt with gold writting on it and i washed it in warm water instead of cold and now the gold letters have black areas all over it. its horrible. how do i get it back to gold?

I'm not sure if you can. It sounds like the gold may have faded and the black is actually what it was before it was gold.

I would try one of those "pens" - "Tide to Go" or one of those.
