I own a Benz 1989 300e and the driver side and rear passenger window on the right are stuck open! I cant seem to figure why though. i started switching switches around to see if i can manage to get them working but nothing. the two windows are stuck open. the switches don't work at all! I am going to buy a new switch online and see if that changes anything but in the mean time i have to get these windows up. this leave for one option. the door panel must come off. any help would be much appreciated.

  1. Have you checked your fuses? on the older benzes usually power is supplied through the same fuse to diagonal windows.

  2. It shouldn't be very much different than this! Follow the link to a pictorial that will show you exactly how to do it. However, this is for a different model Mercedes but it should be the same concept. Hope this helps!

  3. Twist off the door lock caps, unscrew any screws that u see some might be under the door where there is a light. Then u pull up hard on the panel. You really have to jerk some of these they can be a pain.

  4. The guys where I work use a thin wedge, you slide it in at the edge of the door panels and gently pop the clips loose. There are probably 6-8 clips that hold the panel onto the door.

  5. I hope you listened to Donald A coz it,s a fuse!!!!
