How do i get the egg checker in Pokemon pearl?

i have an egg that hatched but i didn't hear any sounds because i don't have an egg checker

there is no such thing as an egg checker

if you want to see how close it is to hatching go to the summery page of the egg and it will say

egg watch:

and then it will tell you if its close to hatching

Go to the Daycare in Solaceon Town, and talk to the guy sitting at the table.
