  1. Clicking on the link below will open iTunes and take you to the purchase page. I recommend you don't upgrade yet because 2.0 is very buggy and unstable. I would stick with 1.1.4 or 1.1.5 until they fix the problems in 2.0. And you must purchase the update twice if you plan to update 2 ipods. You could try to restore the ipod from a backup of the ipod with 2.0 software and see if that works, but otherwise you are going to have to buy it.

  2. use the link and it will go to apple then open other link for itunes to open

    http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/appstore/

idk i havent tried it. it should since u paid for it

  3. go to check for updates in the tool bar and it will tell u if theres new firmware

  4. ^This gift card idea is wrong.

Plug in your iPod Touch. Click "Check For Update". It's next to the Restore button on your iPod Summary screen. It should ask you if you want to download the new firmware. It costs 9.95. I'm sorry to say I don't think it'll work for both you and your sister's iPod. I'm not for sure though. Hope this helps!

If that doesn't work...search for the update in the iTunes Store.

  5. get a 20 or 15 dollar music card redeem it and then it will automatically download it

  6. if you restore it while it is restoring it will say "A new software update is available do you want it" or something like that and just click yes!
