How do i get the pictures from my nikon d40 to show on my tv?

like it came with a plug to attach it from the camera into the tv, but i don't know what modes to put it on to get it to show up. ... . . help pleasSsseeeeE

  1. It is simple. All you need is the AV cable (99 % of time is yellow) that came with the camera to connect the camera to the TV.  Then on you TV make sure to change from regular channels to input.  Some TVs have more than one input so go through them.  You should be watching your pictures on your TV in no time.

  3. put them on a disk and tthen p;ay the disk in a dvd player or take a ubs cord and attach the 2 ,

  4. make sure your TV is on AV1, 2, 3 or whatever slot you plugged it into.

    and just try the normal mode for viewing pictures on the camera.

  5. Its on page 62 in the manual. Go to the playback menu and select the video mode ( PAL or NTSC depending on where in the world you are )

    TURN THE CAMERA OFF

    connect the cable from the plug on the left side of the camera to the video in on your TV

    Turn the TV to Video ( the one where you pluged in the cable is you have more than 1 video input

    Turn the camera on

    press the arrow button to start the playback
