How do i get the pull thing from a motor to not be stuck.(leaf blower)

Question

i used my dad leaf blower to clean my sidewalk up after i cut the grass than my brother wanted to play with it so i let it sit there for a while and i went to turn it on i turned on than after 3 seconds it turned off i tryed it again and it worked. But right after i used it my mom asked me to clean up the padioe so i tryed turning it on and i tryed pulling the thing to start it but i pull it like 1/2 a inch and i gets stuck. Is there anyway to fix it without taking it apart. HELP

If you put it down wrong you may have filled the cylinder with fuel just take out the spark plug and try it again after tipping the fuel out of the cylinder ~~
