How do i get the "Change Oil Soon" warning to stop on my Pontiac G6?

if you have your owners manual it will tell you if not. There are 2 ways to reset it, 1 is you turn the key to ON not start. push the gas pedal to the floor 3 times then start it. it should reset the oil life meter. The other way is if you have a trip reset button ( the stick that comes out of the gages) and you can push it and see tire press. mileage, trip, oil life remaining. If you have that get to oil life remaining and with the percentage displayed (15% oil life remaining) hold it down until it says (100% oil life remaining).
