I found a few missing sippy cups while cleaning and of course they had rotten milk in them. I washed them in the dishwasher and it didnt do the trick. Is there any cleaning products or ideas? I dont want to toss them out as they are expensive and i buy 10 and end up with 1 in the cabinet. THANK YOU

  1. when i find a bottle of old milk which happens i let it soak in hot water with dawn soap then after 10 minutes or even longer i wash it.the dishwasher won't get it out ever.

  2. put a small paper towel in them so that it absorbs the odor.  Store them that way as well, so that you don't have that awful soured milk smell to deal with again!

  3. well you can use [ bleach]  then wash wash wash then put in dish washer .  pure viniger and soap .pore  boiling water in  them .baking soda and water .

    all  should be hand washed

  4. soak in steaming hot water and vinigar for an hour or two, then back to the dish washer

  5. I always soaked them in bleach water, then washed them in hot water and didn't use them for a few days.  (It takes a couple of days to get the bleach smell out of them).  I wished I would of used the vinegar idea, too, though.

  6. Soak them in a solution of baking soda and water maybe.

  7. Fill them half way with white vinegar, lid them and shake them. Let it sit for a couple minutes and then clean them as normal.  It should do the trick. :)

DO NOT use bleach. Bleach can absorb into things, even plastic, and can be harmful to a child if it is.  Vinegar is safer and will wash out and if your child accidentally got a drop or two of vinegar taste on the first sip or two it's not going to harm them like bleach will.

  8. i always boiled them ..

  9. Milton sterilising solution may be worth a try
