How do i get the smell of smoke out of my clothes?

Question

Both my parents smoke, all the time.

Everywhere in my house but my room.

The smell is everywhere, and im going out to the movies tomarrow.

The girl im going with knows i dont smoke, but i dont want to offend her with the sickening oder.

So if like, wash my clothes that im going to where, and put them in a bag or something?

Or spray febreeze? (i dont want to smell funky so i want to avoid that).

And ive asked, they wont smoke outside. They say their house their rules, but hey its worth a try right?

Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

wash your clothes and dry them and hang them outside until you're ready to put them on. the smoke smell can be in your hair too so just make sure not to spend a lot of time in the house after you're all washed up. also you can put a spritz of perfume on your hair. :]

Can you hang them outside to air them out in the fresh air? I would invest in spacebags.

wash in very soapy warm water add a little

lemon juice, or wash them in just baking soda about 1/2 cup

yeah, you gotta wash your clothes, nothing else gets the smell out of them, perfume it somehow, wear it, put on a robe ( so that you dont trap the smoke smell in your freshly washed clothes) walk really fast past the smokers to the door, as you get outside, take off the robe and throw it inside the house (wherever) before you close the door behind yourself.

Get those huge laundry basket....the grey ones at walmart with a cover..would recommned 3 one for going out clothes, oen for inner wear and one for other stuff etc...go to a store like bed bath beyond or linen n things...you will get these sachets which have dried lavender, rose, etc...which you can pout in your box with your washed dried clothes...you might want to go with a smell like clean linen...unlesss your girl does not mind you smelling lavendar :)

Also to keep your room smellign fresh...close the doors of your room...n you could use some potppurri...all this shoudl cost you 30$ at max.

Could you ask your parents to smoke outside?....as this certainly bothers you...n well second hand smoke is very harmful too...request them or remind them how this bothers you...and if they are still adamant...well ask them to shut your room door.

wash them with like scented detergent or something then put them in a bag and close it tight. then put them on right before you are going out then put on a little bit of calone. once you are wearing them, get out of the house fast so they wont start smelling like smoke again.
