How do i get the surfer look without breaking my budget?

Question

My parents are having problems with money, but i really enjoy surfing. i only get to do it once in awhile but i really like it. I dont want to break my moms budget and im to young to get a job

so how do get surfer clothes, without paying 25 bucks for a shirt that just says Hollister that i could get for 10 bucks someplace else thats just as good

any tips

Honestly surf brands are going to be a little pricey. Only way to get them in the $10 range is if they're being sold at an outlet store (Ross' if you live in hawaii), or on ebay. Good luck with it though.

Another method if you can't get a job is to practice hard at surfing, and get good enough to pick up a sponsor. In this case you'll get clothes, gear, and surfboards for free ;)

try selling some stuff that you dont like as much on ebay and save up or if you dont want to do that than just save up by finding like a baby sitting job
