  1. You can't. They are dirty little animals, and even if you got it out it would come back.

  2. take him to a vet mite be something serious

  3. some ferrets are just yellow that's how it is. its not like hes dirty or anything. quit bathing him so much its horrible for him

FERRETS ARE NOT RODENTS!!!! THEY EAT RODENTS

FERRETS ARE  MUSTELIDS WHICH IS A CARNIVOROUS SMALL MAMMAL

  4. the same way you get the white and grey off.

    (u just cant)

  5. You can't. You might be able to for a little while, but it'll come back. They naturally produce oils in their skin that leaks onto their fur, like when a person doesn't take a shower for a while, their hair gets oily. But you should NOT bathe your ferret more than once a month. It will dry out his skin and could cause irritation, and if you continue bathing him and his skin gets too irritated, it can cause baldness. Just deal with it.

  6. there are special shampoos designed just for ferrets that you can find at a local pet store. if his fur is stained then that should help take the stain out over time, just follow the instructions on the bottle carefully. also make sure his cage stays clean as ferrets can get messy. hope this helps and good luck with your ferret.

  7. Is he a breeding ferret? If so the coloration may be due to oxidation from the hormones and that color cannot be removed. Has he grown in a new winter coat? You will find with seasonal changes the coat will either go whiter or he may turn out more cream than white.  The yellow may be a normal color pattern for your ferret.  You should not wash the ferret because it takes out the natural oils in the skin and causes the ferret to secrete more oils which smell like musk.

I have a brother and sister that started out the same color, now one is snow white with hints of silver/black and the other is a creamy color. They also have a brother who is an albino, but his winter coat has a beautiful orange glow to it.

You will find with time that your ferret's coat will even out in color and each time he changes coat you may be surprised what color coat he will put on. Definitely do NOT try to lighten or whiten color, let him be himself.

You probably already know this but you will find more ferret experienced people under the heading of other pets. Ferrets are not rodents, but carnivores in the skunk and weasel family.
