How do i get them tuff limescale bits off the toilet?

if tried every thing it just wont budge has anyone got any ideas

Put some bleach around the rim, let it settle in then have a good dig at the limescale with the toilet brush until it starts to come off, then flush it away, don't mix it with any other chemicals though.

did u try Lime-A-Way?   comes in a green bottle

Yup.  Pour 3/4 cup of white vinegar into it.  Let stand overnight.  Voila!
