How do i get this job!?! help please!!!

Okay, so. this is my first job interview everrrrr!! I'm only 16, but I'm in desperate need of a job. my parents are at the stage where they're like "no movies tonight..you have no money.". So i decided to get a job. I went and applied for this job at a coffee house and it seems like an okay job. they pay $7.50 an hour and it just seems like fun. So later that day, i get a call back from the manager and i have an interview scheduled for monday at 11:30. Any advice to grantee that i will get this job?! Thank you so much!! :]

Be confident, be sure to have goals for life in mind before you get there. Have a story for if she asks if you have had a moment in life where you had to deal with a problem. And when she asks you do you have any question, BE SURE TO ASK A FEW.

There are no guarantees on getting a job. You can only do your best. Make sure you practice answering potential interview questions. Possible questions: Can you juggle school and work? Why should we hire you? Strengths and weaknesses, etc...

Make sure you are as flexible as possible with shifts and dress appropriately, prepare a few questions to ask at the interview, make sure you take your social security card and drivers license in case they hire you on the spot.

dress nicely - no jeans - a long sleeved shirt with a collar.  Wear a belt with your trousers - and make sure they are not hanging down and bagging down your butt.

Wear real shoes - not sneakers.  Know a little bit about the coffee house.  Do your home work on their business.  ask at the public library for help if a google search or a yahoo search doesn't turn anything up.

Be polite - sincere and don't be afraid to ask questions about your hours.

Remember school should be your priority so ask about things like shift changes etc if you have to study for tests and exams and such.

Don't lie about anything.
