download spybot search & destroy 1.6

run em all in the order of rouge remover

ad-aware

spybot

spywareblaster

spybot will tell you not to install adaware and vise versa (install em anyways)

should cure your problem also look for toolbars and such in add remove programs via the control panal and remove em, be sure not to remove and system files

also install windows defender

Try downloading CCleaner and then get AVG 8.0 Free Edition. run a scan in avg. do a check in all of ccleaner and run registry scan and delete all issues. then go to tools then uninstaller and run unistaller on power-antivirus-2009 then delete registry entry through ccleaner

The first thing i would try is un-installing the program if that doesn't do anything then try getting either AVG or Norton anti virus if those don't fix your problem then you are likely to have to back up all of your important files and do a system restore or maybe even a full dump and reinstall on the operating system. seeing as you are asking this question you probably don't have much experience so if the anti virus programs don't work you might be best to go to best buy or another reputable computer store and have them remove the issue
