If you going on weekdays, only way is following option.

Option 1:

Take Manhattan-bound (R) to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av.

Then take either Manhattan-bound (E) 8th Av or (F) 6th Av to 14th St for Brooklyn-bound (L) train.

Or . If you may also stay on V (6th Av) or take (R) Broadway from Grand Av to 14th St for same Brooklyn-bound (L) train.

Option 2.

Step 1: Take Manhattan-bound (V) to 23rd St-Ely Av

Step 2: Walk through passegeway connecting to Long Island City, then transfer to G to Metropolitan Av for L.

During the weekends and late nights, there are many construction obstructing G halt service on Queens Blvd stations.
