How do i get to anstruther from glasgow. Will travel by bus/train.?

planning on going to anstruther in august and not sure how to get there as national rail and bus station dont have a direct route. Can anyone help.?????

  1. On the train it would have to be Glasgow Queen St. to Edinburgh Haymarket and change there for the train North to Leuchars (train time about 1h 50) then bus from there to St Andrews and change to Ansruther


  2. Bus from Buchanan St to St. Andrews and change for bus to Anstruther.
