How do i get to canada by train ?

ok me and my girl friend are runnig away to canda. were going by train.

what do we need . would birth cerfict and school id work. and how much do you think a ticket from califronia to canda would be. do we have to pre book them

Stay in the USA....everything is cheaper....and you'll have a hard time getting a job...go to college and get a degree in something that you can use....Nursing, Accounting, IT, Esthetician....(working in a Spa)...

To add to the answer above, if you're over 18, and she's not, you could be charged with kidnapping.

Just wanted to add that I saw from your other questions posted that you're only 16.  Don't do it.  Seriously.

From your previous questions it appears you are 15 years old and you and your girlfriend have been indulging in activities which her parents would not approve of, and that raises serious questions about why you are running away.

You can't simply run to Canada - birth certificate and school ID don't work because neither of you are of legal age, and minors can not cross the border without  letter of permission from their parents.

As to the train fare, you can easily find that out by calling Amtrak, but it won't do you any good because you won't be able to enter Canada in any case.

Sorry - you'll just have to stay where you are and face the music.

Well, if you are under 18, you need a letter of permission signed by both parents and notarized to be allowed to leave the U.S. and enter Canada.  You would not be allowed to work in Canada without a work visa, or attend school without a study visa.  It would be very wise to rethink this plan.
