  1. try.

put cd into drive on PC

    when PC recognises it .

    click on "my computer"

on the window that drops down will be an icon of a dvd.

    click on open.

on the file that opens click on the film and drag and drop it on to your desk top.

    hope this helps.

  2. First of all make a new folder on your hard drive and rename it to wghatever you want to call it

put the dvd in your drive go to my computer click on the dvd drive to open it  then highlight the files right click on them and select copy  then paste them to your  folder

  3. insert disk> my computer> disk drive> right click > explore

  4. just put the disk in your pc, open my computer, open the dvd drive, highlight the film or tv programs, right click your mouse on them, press copy, then open my documents, right click your mouse and press paste, there copied toi your harddrive.

also when you put the disk in your pc it should ask you what you want to do, does it not say copy folder to harddrive? if not, do what i said earlier.

    Hope i helped, bye

  5. You'll need a DVD drive that reads that DVD format, whether it's a 4.7 GB or 8.5 GB Dual Layer DVD.  Not all DVD drives can read all DVD formats.

  6. There is free software called handbrake that you can download.  It converts DVDs (as well as other media files already on laptop) to MP4 which you can then watch on laptop or even on your ipod.

I use it a lot to transfer films I've recorded onto DVD from TV to MP4 to watch on planes/trains.

  7. You just simply take the disc and slip it into the disc drive of your computer and copy and paste the contents of the DVD onto your hard drive.

If that does not work then your disc drive might be a compact disc (cd) drive and not a DVD drive but most computers come with a DVD drive anyway.

  8. Have you tried putting it in your PC's DVD drive and copying the contents to a folder on your hard disk?

    Please elaborate.
