  1. go to d railway station ,

sit in d train n go.

    its simple!

  2. Get hold of Indian Railways Trains at a Glance Rs.35. Go to Page No.73 / Table No.4. Take a train available in that table Get off at Pathankot or Chakki Bank. From there change for Narrow guage train going to Jogindernagar you will travel with local Himachal people. Its slower than road transport but an avid train buff will enjoy it. Go to page no 219 / Table 95. From outside of Jogindernagar you can board a bus going towards Manali via Kulu. It takes 5 hours to Kullu & 7 hours to Manali. Happy Journey.

  3. frst u caan go to mumbai railway station and u can catch the trivendram express it will be go to trivendram. in trivendram local trains and buses are awailable ti kulu r4 monalli

  4. For Manali no direct train is available. From mumbai you can get Mumbai rajdhani train upto New Delhi. Then from New Delhi you may go by VOLVO bus directly to Manali.Or alternatively from New Delhi Railway station to Kalka you may go by Shatabdi express thereafter you may get toy train for Shimla for fun sake.

  5. You get all information about that on http://www.indianrail.gov.in/ -

  6. there is no train to manali or kulu, the mountain is too steep! the nearest you can get by train is simla/chandigahr. you get a train to delhi, then simla, then the rest (9/10hrs) by bus. if you cannot bear this, there is a domestic airport at kulu

  7. my dear you do not have a direct train to kulu or manali

    you have two option

one to go to shimla and then from there to kulu or manali

or you can go directly to kulu or manali skiping simla.

for the first option you have to reach kalka from mumbai and then take the toy train to simla and from there to manali

for the second option you have to reach pathankot t(he railway station name is chakki bank) and from there you have to catch a bus or drive in national highway 20 to manali.

for the first option you have  a direct train to kalka  from mumbai 2925 paschim express depature 11.35 and reach kalka 16.35 next day and from there you can catch the hill train to simla and from there you can go to kulu or manali

for the second option you have a direct train to pathankot from mumbai 2471 swaraj express dep mumbai at 07.55 and reach chakki bank (pathankot)  13.45 next day. this train runs only on mon, thurs, fri, sunday only . you have a a/c special for summer season now . 0905 a/c express depature 23.15 and reach chakki bank 03.00  third day. the total journey hours is 29.45 hours and this train runs only on mon and wednesday only.

all the train shown above start from bandra terminus.

  8. Kullu and Manali are NOT connected by rail. Though the nearest railway station is Kirat Pur Sahib on Sirhind - Nangal Dam section , but it is better to travel upto Chandigarh by train and then by road ( by taxi or by bus ) to Kullu / Manali . From Mumbai there is one direct train to Chandigarh ( starts from Bandra Terminal). The train is 2925 Paschim Express. You may also travel upto New Delhi by some train and change train at New Delhi for Chandigarh.
