  1. Your cheapest option is to catch the National Express from London Victoria coach station. It runs all night and takes you there in about 1hr 20min. Was £10 last time I left.

    www.nationalexpress.co.uk

Stansted airport is also open all night if you wish to stay at the airport. It tends to get a bit cold there at night and it is hard to get a chair to sleep on. Dress warm.

You can also get there using the Stansted Express leaving from London Liverpool Street.

    www.stanstedexpress.co.uk

£16.50 I think and will take you 45 mins.

  2. With great difficulty or just dont bother and go straight out to the runway and nick the plane

  3. the airport is open 24 hours, although if you arrive anytime after 11, all the good sleeping spots have been taking and you could end up staying on the floor! have spent the night in stansted several times, its not comfortable but its doable

  4. London to Stanstead Airport.

There is a 24hour coach service which runs from Victoria Coach Station to Stanstead Airport.

The link below explains how to get to Stanstead Airport - you can travel at night [24/7] via National Express - see link.

  5. Look up Stanstead Express on the web

  6. http://www.transportdirect.info/web2/Def...

this page is excellent...put in yr postcode or street  or wherever u want to leave from, yr destination, in any format, opt for public transport or car time..it does it all for u ..except take u that is...good luck

  7. There are regular coaches (IIRC up to every 20 minutes, even in the dead of night) 24-hours a day on at least two routes run by National Express (one from Victoria via Baker Street, St Johns Wood, Finchley ROad and Golders Green; the other through, I think, Liverpool Street, Stratford, etc). I've used the first of these on many occasions, and would definitely recommend that option rather than taking a taxi or spending the night at the airport. IIRC a return fare was about £16 or £18...but nothing is cheap in London

  8. If there is no public transportation from where you are at that time, you might need to catch the last train/bus the previous night.

This way you make it cheap but you're looking at a long wait.
