How do i get to the latin quarter by train from paris cdg airport?

You just need to get the RER B to Luxemburg or St Michel its about 9€.

As the others have said, take the train.  We stayed in that area in late December and managed just fine with our suitcases.  Get a good map so you can figure out the shortest walking route to wherever you are staying.  Lots of shops and cafes--you will have a great time.  Just remember that everything is expensive now!

you take a train, called the "RER B", blue color at CDG airport :

- from the station "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle"

- to the station "Saint-Michel Notre-Dame" or "Luxembourg".

it's about 40 minutes.

EDIT: abt what SUE said. RER is not the subway, it is a train. the RER is under the ground in paris, nonetheless it is ON the ground on the main part of the trip. and i wdnt want to be complex, but the RER B is SNCF (train) out of paris and RATP (subway) only in paris... and a last comment... in france subway drives right (like cars) and the train drives left (like UK), and the RER drives left.

anyway, trains and subway have the same tickets, so no pb...

and another thing : dont forget that with your ticket from CDG you can then use freely the subway... but keep your ticket.

BTW they sound like they are talking about the Métro.  Not an intercity or commuter train.  There aren't two SNCF stations in Quartier Latin...there ARE two subway stops.  Check your lodging map to find which is closer to where you are staying.

You can search the metro map, too.  If you familiarize yourself with the map before you leave, you will be able to hop on like a native.  You'll be much more comfortable.
