  1. well from union station (or nearby)

you have a few choices one way is to to Alameda/Los Angeles

(across from Union station, then board a Santa Monica Big Blue #10 (express) pay the driver $ 2.25 (thats $1.25 +.50 for a transfer

but if you are planning on returning the same day then you could

get an express day pass for $3.50

then you take the #10 to Santa Monica and Bundy, then transfer to the Santa Monica #1 bus to UCLA.

depending on the day and time -during the week it will

stop at the UCLA bus terminal but on the weekend the buses

go into UCLA and stop at Ackerman union instead

    thats one option

another option is board Metro line 704  pay this

driver $1.25 +.30 for a Metro to Muni transfer)

take this bus to Westwood/Santa Monica, then transfer

to any big Blue bus going up westwood blvd all the buses will go to UCLA

  2. There are a number of bus routes that will take you.  Go to http://www.metro.net/default.asp and put in "UCLA" and "union station" and it will give you a list.

  3. first, you jump on the magic carpet.  You tell the monkey that i sent you there.  You must drink his wine.  After that youll see fuzzy stars and then you know youre near ucla.
