How do i get trails for cycling in the 2012 Olympics?

i have been doing cycling for a long time now and have gained a high level of fitness from doing so and am thinking of trying out for the olympics , i believe if i train hard enough i could be in 2012 olympics since i have 4 years of training still to improve . but how do i get trails for this pacific sport in the olympics. i no it is different in certain country's so i am asking how to get trails for the UK's team

    ..no? you'd better get there. how else do you expect to get an invite to try out for the Olympic team?

    bottom line: you've got to be making an impression now, and getting the attention of Olympic coaches, now..

  4. Most of the cyclists in the Olympics are professionals, both on the track and the road (probably MTB and BMX too). There are multiple national champions and world champions. Chris Hoy for the UK has won world champions stripes in several disciplines. As soon as you can win at that level you'll be in.

  5. The short answer is enter events and win a lot. If you are not competing at the PRO level in the next two years you will likely be watching from the sidelines.
