How do i get what ever i have recorded on my handycam on to my comp?

i tried using another usb since i cant find the one that came with it it does fit but what next nothing shows up on the comp!!

u can use the usb. read the manual and try if there is another way

What sort of handycam have you got (model number?).

Is the other usb of the same company? If not, then there is a good chance that it wont work. Even if it does fit.
