How do i get wifi on my itouch i cant getting help!

i just got my itouch i went to setting - wifi - then i see ( chosing a network.....) i see some on like Davis5309 1 bar lock and flurfsWorld 1 bar lock and other... i cant connect to the internet either any it been 3 days plz help or intructions

You'll have to hookup a wireless router to your current internet connection on your computer. The names Davis5309 and flurfsWorld are probably your neighbors wireless internet connections. I believe you will have to have a highspeed internet. There are usually some other wifi areas at places like Starbucks and McDonald's.

Do you have a wifi connection at your house?  it sounds like you are picking up your neighbors who have a wifi in their homes and have done the right thing by locking it so that you cant use it.  You lock it because you are responsible for it and the security of your computers.  You don't want people downloading kiddie p**n on your connection.

It is illegal to use other people's wireless even if they are unsecured. There is up to 5 years prison for this. When they show locked they are secured by an encryption key. This prevents anyone from stealing their bandwidth. To attempt to crack this is up to 30 years.These are now internationally agreed penalties. In any case their signal strength would not be enough to use. you need 4 to 5 bars to work. What you are supposed to do is subscribe to broadband, then buy a wireless router of your own to connect it.
