  1. You don't need to have a degree to join the Army.  Most people join right out of high school.  Go talk to an Army recruiter, and express your interest in becoming a nurse.  The Army has terrific medical training at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.

  2. If you already have a college degree then enlist and they send you to nursing school.  If just a High School Graduate, then no

  3. Go to the Army Recruiter and ask for info.

  4. You can enlist as a 68W (Health Care Specialist). You have to complete this training first. Make sure in your contract that you are guaranteed M6 after that.

The 68W course qualifies you as a medic, and the M6 is an additional skill that qualifies you as a nurse (You will become an LPN).

After Basic, you'd go through the 68W MOS AIT, which is about 16 weeks long, and after that you go directly to the M6 school.
