  1. move to massachusetts

  2. You quit because the pay was low - so now you don't even have that much income?  That doesn't sound like the best idea ever. What made you think you could just quit, and get unemployment?

Since you quit, you aren't eligible for unemployment.  Unemployment is for people who lose their jobs not through their own fault.

    Look fast for another job.

  3. You don't.  Unemployment benefits are for people who got fired but who did nothing wrong, not for those who quit, or those who screwed up and got fired.

"Unemployment insurance benefits are available for workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own. ", from listed source

If you had a legit claim, you'd file it with your state.  Look on your state's web site, or google for "unemployment" plus your state's name.

  4. it takes over a year to find a job? you must be very ambitious....get off your butt & go find a job!

  5. U can rarely ever get unemployment if u quit ur job. I'm getting unemployment now but It's because I got laid off...All U can do is file and see what happens I guess.

  6. Since you quit voluntarily you are not eligible for unemployment.  Get cracking on the job search as you won't get any government aid!
