How do i go about finding a trainer for the Olympics?

  1. i think you should first ask yourself if you have the drive to put in long hours every day for years to even get a chance to participate.

    or are you just fired up about it right now because of the olympics running right now.


  2. its not really a olympic trainer. Its actually your own trainer that you work with and you both together movie up to that level.

  3. I agree with BabyDeer, you don't exactly hire an Olympic coach, it's almost always the one you have been working with for a long time.

If you want detailed answer, you'll need to specify which sport.  Most track stars emerge from colleges, for example.  Gymanstics is a different story with parents taking their young ones to private gyms.  If you already have a coach, it can be your current coach.  But at the same time, I do know that some coaches in my sport just doesn't have the knowledge to get you all the way.  You do have to shop around for a coach that works for you.
