How do i go about finding the nearest weigh station to me? do i need to make an appointment/?

Why do you need a weigh station? Do you drive a semi-truck for a living or are you so morbidly obese that you need to pay extra road taxes due to your weight?

They are listed on any good map.

if you are looking for a DOT scale in your state, search your state web and find the DOT page and call them, if you are looking for a CERTIFIED scale for registration purposes, find a truckstop(cat scale) or a scrap yard. this would be easier to answer if we knew why you need the scale.... If you need a yearly DOT inspection, truckstops do that, not the chicken coops

You can look up Flying J's online.  They're all over and usually have weigh stations.  I don't think they're official truck scales, but you can weigh cars and stuff.
