  1. Call your local health department. They should be able to direct you to the right place for the birth certificate. Here, in Ohio, the Health Department is where you get them...not sure about other states.

As for the SS card.....get your phone book and look up the the number for the Social Security Bureau in your area. They'll be able to tell you exactly what you need. You'll need to take care of the BC first, because you need it to get the SS card.

  2. You get your birth certificate from the town you were born in.  You need to contact them.  As far as Social Security card, you contact the SS security office and they send you a form that needs filling out, but you will need your birth certificate to get a SS card.

  3. You can call/visit the courthouse in whichever county in whichever state  they were born in.  For example:  I was born in Morgantown WV. Morgantown is in Monongalia County WV.  So I would go to the Monongalia County Courthouse to get copies of birth certificate.

As for the Social Security cards, you can go to http://ssa.gov/ there you can apply for new SS cards.

    I hope this helped you.
