How do i go about putting a high impedance mic into a mixer?

  1. Get an impedance transformer. I had this problem a while back. I got one at radioshack, their about 15 bucks. either that or get a direct box. Just make sure the ends match up to what you want concering 1/4 inch jacks and three prong xlr inputs and outputs.


  2. Before you buy a impedance transformer, try plugging it directly into the 1/4 inch input on the mixer.  Each channel should have a 1/4 inch input and a XLR.  You may have to turn the "trim" or "gain" up, but it probably will work fine.   Also make sure the volume k**b on the green bullet is turned up to the max.
