  1. For fuss free without much site designing, you may want to use Blog.

Setting up a website require slightly more effort than Blog.

Here is an example of Blog using WordPress only takes less than 20 mins to setup:

    http://thehappyhealth.com/updates/

While this is a Website design using Dreamweaver take 4 hours:

  2. Reccomend blogger.com

You can set up a fully hosted blog (you can create a tradtional website out of a blog, if you are creative enough) without any additional cost for hosting.

All you have to pay is, annual fee for the domain, which is usually less than 10 USD

With their "custom domain hosting" you can set up a site, on a domain of your own, in less than 10 minutes.

If you don't want a customized domain, you can create your site on a blogger hosted sub domain like http://www.worldcupwithkrish.blogspot.co...

  3. If you seriously want to earn money. Than i have a better solution for you.

www.ask4phone.co.uk is a mobile comparison portal which is providing a free mobile comparison website for FREE . What you you have to do is to start promoting the website and work on revenue share basis.

  4. You could do it a couple of ways, if you don't want to pay anything for it, you can actually use Google to create a website, it is one of the tools called googlepages they have available.  Here is one which I created using Google:

Alternatively, you can pay and if you are to do this, you really need some kind of website design software e.g. Microsoft Frontpage or Dreamweaver, unless you know HTML in which case I believe you can write it in Notepad or use Word, but not quite sure how you go about that.  Then, once you have designed your site you need to pay for 1. Your domain name, i.e. the name of your website and 2. Hosting which is basically paying for your site to be held on a server which everyone can access via the Internet.

I have also designed websites using Dreamweaver and use 4uhosting to buy domain name and hosting.  Here is an example of a site I did this way:

    www.dimensionphotos.com

You will see that the second method can give more professional looking results and also produces better search results.

If you do want to pay for one to be done for you, please feel free to give me a shout, I'd be happy to give you a quote.  For an idea, I charged £350 to design and deliver the Dimension Photos site above.

Good luck with whatever you go with!

  5. It depends on what the website for and how much you wanna invest in it. I have a hosting for about £6 a month and it's quite expensive. So for a few quid you could get a nice hosting, try www.122reg.com they'll give you free AdWords vouchers as well.

Overall, the website itself is quite cheap, as i said just a few quid a month, but website promotion is much more expensive.

If you want to know more than we'll need more information about your future website.

  6. Try 000webhost  they offer 250MB disc space and 100Gb datransfer for free. Not jus free for the first month but free for as long as you want. If you like the service you can donate or up grade to paid  account but if you don't need a lot of disc space the free account should be alright. The good thing about  000webhost is that they provide you templates and web building machine which you can assecc for free or if you don't want to do it yourself they also provide paid web design service. Just go there and read their terms and conditions if it's good for you get a domain name,it's easy and free. But if you find another host that suits you better it's still a good idea to keep the free account so you can link it to you main web site. Having more link means you get picked up easier by the search engines.
