  1. almost every lawyer who will take this kind of case will take it on contingency - which means he/she takes a percent of the winnings.  if you don't win, they don't get paid.  look in your yellow pages (or online yellow pages) under attorneys-malpractice.  there will be tons... probably even some who specialize in VA stuff.

  2. Yes, talk to a lawyer, look up on yahoo listings mal practice lawyers, Ji Adler (the tough smart lawyer) takes cases like this. Look up his number and talk to them about. Do not let the VA hospital know that you are going to sue them though. Let it be a surpise, any paperwork you have on the hospital, save and also make copies of it.

Sorry you'll had to go through this.

    Good luck with your case

  3. well first off, DONT SAY A WORD TO THE HOSPITAL ABOUT IT. if you do they could destroy papers and thangs that are important in helping you win. Get a good lawyer. They will be the ones who can tell you if you have a case and everything. Its going to be hard, but if you win worth it.  Most lawyers give you a free consult, so check out a good one.
