First of all the umpires will need paying, however to find out the availability of umpires I would suggest contacting the secretary of the Birmingham League and you will be able to 'hire' the league umpires out. Usually the payment is fairly moderate. Each umpire usually will get paid something in the region of £20.By contactin the Bham League they may have umpires availability of you may be given contact details. I know of someone who may be interested, could you e-mail me the dates and times. I am in the Birmingham area and am likely to be available. I have a very good cricketing knowledge and have played the game at a good standard for many years now. I also know the laws of the game and... if all else fails use Law 43.... Common Sense!!!
