  1. Take the A or C or 1 train @ 181st station.( Depends on what part of Central Park you going to.)You can get of the train between 110 ST and 59 ST stations. That will put you on Central Park W

  2. i know you can get off at like the stop on 86th street

and then walk to central park

my school is like right across central parkk, welll near it

  3. Take the D to 125th St, transfer across the platform for the B or C local.

Note - if the B is running at 182nd-183rd St, take that instead of the D.

There are many local train stops along Central Park West:  103rd St, 96th St, 86th St, 81st St, 72nd St, 59th St-Columbus Circle (the B, C and D all stop at 59th St).

Central Park is across the street once you exit the subway.

Since you didn't specify exactly where in Central Park you had in mind I recommend either 81st St (Museum of Natural History) or 72nd St.

  4. Actually, you're not close to the 1.  It's over across that little river in Manhattan.

Get the B or D at 182d.  Transfer to the B at 125th if not already on it.  Then you can go down the West side of the park.

Or get the 5 and you can go down the East side of the park.  I like that side better.

Do you go to Fordham?  If yes, they have a van service that runs from the Rose Hill campus down to the Lincoln Center campus at 60th & Columbus right near the southwest tip of the park.

Here's a link to the NYC subway system map:

That big green rectangle in Manhattan is Central Park.  Many ways to get to it.
