  1. I was just there in April with my family. Maranello is not really easy to get to as it is a small town a bit off the beaten track (expect for those Ferrari fans).

The best thing to do is to rent a car from the Rome airport and head north on the A1 highway (green signs) toward Bologna. After Bologna you have to look for signs to Maranello.

Here is a link to their website for more info:

For the best driving directions, use of of these sites (which can also let you know about hotels in the area):

    ViaMichelin: www.viamichelin.com

    Mappy: www.mappy.it

To tell you the truth the visit was a little disappointing -- the museum is expensive and the merchandise even more so! However, if you are a huge race car or Ferrari fan than one trip in your life is worth it.

(If you don't feel like you can drive all the way from the Rome airport, you could always take the train to Bologna and rent a car from there. You have to take a train from the airport to the main station and from there switch to a train from Bologna).

  2. From Rome to Bologna, Maranello (Modena) is not too far quite close 49 km..

  3. you could fly over verona and drive to modena is not far away

    modena airport

o take a tren from roma is  cheaper then fly

    buonagiornata

  4. Fly Rome FCO to Bologna BLQ. Outside the terminal, catch the bus to Modena Bus Station. Once you get off there, take the bus to Maranello.

  5. This Mapquest link should answer your question. While I did not do exact addresses, This should be good enough to start with. Enjoy Italy! I was there last spring and it was beautiful!

    regards,
