How do i got programs not to start when i turn on my computer

Start --> Run ---> Type this: msconfig ---> select startup tab ---> unselect any program u don't want to run at windows startup..

Start, run, and type (without the quotes) "msconfig", remove the programs you don't want to start up upon boot.

In the start menu, there is a startup folder.  Put your programs in there.

Download Piriform CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/download) and go to the tab for programs that run on stratup. Delete the keys of the ones you don't want.

Alternatively, run "msconfig" and uncheck programs in that startup tab.

Some programs will re-enter their startup registry so you may have to dig in that that program's options to disable auto start up.
