How do i grow mushrooms?

ok,so i am trying to figure out how to grow mushrooms;NOT the hallucinogenic kind just the small,poisonous ones..this might sound silly but i like fairies and i heard they hang around toadstools.lol and no im not crazy im just interested in learning on how to grow them >p.s i got inspired by watching the spiderwick chronicles<
