  1. i heard the sun makes your hair grow faster. to get outside and start growing lol

  2. yes, i had the same problem. Follow these steps and look at all the vitamins you'll need here:

    Things You’ll Need:

    Aloe Vera

    Citrus Fruits

    Jojoba

    Rosemary and Sage

Step1Step One: Buy a High Quality Hair Growth Product

I suggest you go all-natural. Unnatural hair care products are a no-no for someone who wants long-lasting, healthy hair growth. Find a hair growth product that contains powerful essential oils, natural herbs, and vitamin rich nutrients your hair needs to survive. Look for products with ingredients such as the aformentioned Aloe Vera, Citrus Fruits, Jojoba, Rosemary, and Sage. Make sure you stay away from all natural products that use natural extracts. Extracts are not as powerful as essentials oils. They are a cheap substitute for the real thing. Although there are several natural hair care products on the market, not all hair growth products are created equal. Make sure you read the fine print. Most “natural” products still contain phosphates, sodium lauryl sulfate, petroleum, mineral oil, and other lab created humectants that ultimately damage your hair. My advice---if you can’t read the ingredients, don’t buy the product. When I was searching for a natural hair growth product, I found one really great buy, Beauty 4 Ashes Super Hair Growth System. Finding this company took me awhile; but Beauty 4 Ashes pretty much gives you everything you need to make your hair grow. Foremost, I checked the ingredient listings and the products contained no artificial ingredients. The system also included hair growth vitamins, a great hair healthy eating plan, and even scalp stimulating hair growth exercise routine. At first, the system may seem a bit pricey, but, boy was I impressed with the results. In 9 months, I went from patches of hair to hair just above my shoulders. Now, I am no product junkie; but I have to tell you that this product is worth the money. It does not cost an arm and leg and it is worth every penny you pay. You can find it easily at www.discoverb4a.com. Also, check for it on Ebay. You may actually find a deal.

Step2Step Two: A Healthy Hair Eating Plan

Your hair is all protein. Thus, you need a protein rich diet, chocked fill of B Vitamins and other hair-strengthening nutrients. Increase your intake of fish. It is full of healthy proteins and essential fatty acids and natural oils your hair needs. In addition, drink a protein supplement or shake everyday. If you follow this plan, not only will your hair grow, but you will also lose weight. That is, of course, if you lay off the junk food. Remember, I warned you too much junk food above.

    Step3Step Three: Drink Water

Eight to ten glasses of water is an absolute requirement. Drinking water flushes your body of toxins, chemicals, and impurities that stifle your hair growth and disrupt your hormone and enzyme imbalances. Water also transports the important nutrients your body needs throughout your body. Hate drinking water? Add lemon and Splenda to have a healthy, tasty alternative

    1.  Drink Recommended Daily Amount Of Water

Coffee, tea, sugar drinks or beer does not count in your daily water count.  Water means exactly that -  water.  Carbonated and caffeinated drinks may actually speed up dehydration which means that the body is not functioning at optimal levels.  Not only can dehydration make you feel drained and exhausted, it can be a hidden factor in hair growth stoppage, dry strands or tresses that break off.

Adjust your daily levels according to the seasons of the year (hot weather may require more daily water consumption) and the amount of stress in your life.

When pressed for exact formulas, most experts can not give a simple answer to how much water humans should drink every day.  A general rule of thumb is for women to drink between 2 and 2.6 liters of water a day.  For men the rule of thumb is 2.8 to 3.5 liters.

There are many exceptions to this general rule of thumb which are tied back to age, lifestyle, weight and climate.  In essence, experts advise that you replace all the water that you excrete every day.

    2.  Drink Green Tea

As always, experts disagree with the merits of green tea and whether or not it does conclusively help hair health and encourage growth.

Experts who believe in the hair health benefits of green tea point to the fact that certain compounds found in green tea cause the relaxation of blood vessels, helping overall cardiovascular activity through increased circulation.  Of course increased circulation will naturally help nourish hair roots and scalp tissues.

    3.  Take A Brisk Walk Several Times A Week

Experts have discovered that walking at a quick pace for just 15 minutes will help to raise your normal heart rate which improves circulation to your entire body, including to your scalp and hair follicles.  It also helps shake out the cobwebs and aids in a feeling of alertness and energy.

The ideal time to take a walk is about one hour after a meal.  This allows your body to digest and puts less overall strain on your system.

Of course it is important to always consult with your personal physician before beginning any new exercise routine that would be strenuous in any way.

It is also best to avoid walking at the hottest times of the day.  And yes, don't forget your sunscreen, regardless of the time of year that you walk, which is why many people have become devoted mall walkers.

    4.  Get Enough Sleep

Many people are sleep deprived.  As a result of daily stresses and strains studies have found that humans are getting less and less sleep.  For the body to function at optimal capability, which includes having the necessary energy to nourish and grow hair, humans need enough sleep.

Unfortunately there is no pat answer for how much sleep is enough.  Again, it depends on the individual.  Most sleep experts recommend an average of 6-8 hours for active adults.  Depending on age, health conditions and other factors you may need more than 8 or be able to survive on a little less.

As a result of more sleep deprived people, cat naps are becoming more popular.  A great way to get a daily energy boost is to schedule a 20 minute cat nap.  Be sure not to sleep longer than 20 minutes though or else you will more tired than before you napped.  Studies have shown that 20 minutes is the very best amount of time for getting maximum benefit.  So set an alarm for exactly 20 minutes and catch some mid-day Zzzs.

    5.  Eat Energy Snacks

When hunger hits between meals, eat to nourish your hair roots.  Reach for one handful of unsalted natural cashews or a few almonds.  Almonds are loaded with magnesium which is an essential mineral for growing healthy strands.

Other good hair healthy snacks include yogurt, hard boiled eggs and tofu which all have great nutrients to help hair grow.

    6.  Indulge In Daily Aromatherapy

Many studies have been done on the effects of aromatherapy when used in daily or regular scalp massages for both healthy hair and scalp as well as overall health.

Studies have found that there is a direct link between the use of aromatherapy and hair growth.

A study performed by the Archives of Dermatology in 1998 by Scottish researchers found that aromatherapy can promote new hair growth.  Patients who massaged various aromatherapy oils on their scalps every day enjoyed significant and measurable improvement in their hair growth.

    7.  Laughter Is The Best Medicine

Attitude is everything.  Studies have shown that chronic negative moods can impact the human body and cause all human systems to slow down or become sluggish.  This includes the circulatory system which feeds the roots of the hair, helping it to grow and remain properly nourished.  When life gets you down rent a funny movie or read a humorous book.  Take a break and have some fun to light your mood.

    8.  Eat Power Foods

Extreme diets that eliminate major food groups can be detrimental to healthy hair and can actually cause a slow down in new hair production.  Diets that are too low in calories or completely eliminate either proteins or carbs can stimulate a form of alopecia that causes hair loss.  Always eat a balanced food plan that incorporates healthy amounts of proteins and carbs.  Don't forget to take either your daily vitamins or your hair growth vitamins like HairTopia vitamins.

    Summary

Consider adopting some of the following secrets to boost your natural energy, support your thyroid and encourage the growth of new strands that are healthy, shiny and less prone to dryness or breakage.

  3. i've been having the same problem actually.

a lot of people told me to use the Mane n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner... i got it but i don't think it did much for me.  still if you want to give it a try it's cheap like $5 for a huge bottle at Walgreens.

Other stuff i've tried is eating nuts which contains a lot of protein, and Vitamin E which can help you grow your nails and hair.

There are also, hair supplements, but i don't think it's necessary to take pills to make your hair grow (but that's just my opinion).  I think you can get them at like drugstores like GNC...

i know you've probably heard this a thousand times, but try trimming it yourself... (salons always makes it a lot shorter than you want it to be).  trimming is easy, just snip off like less than a centimeter of your ends... that way that can stimulate the hair to grow without looking like you made your hair even shorter.

time is the best for growing out hair, try to tie it up and use clips to create a look you like, and in now time, you'll notice how much longer your hair has gotten..

if all else fails, then maybe get extensions... they can be hard to take care of.

  4. eating really healthy is good for amazing hair growth.

    Peanuts for shine.

and you could go to thee store and get biotin or vitamin E. vitamins.

They are suppose to make your hair grow alot faster.

    and HAIR MASKS.

they are at the beauty store, just ask the clerk.

&for the shampoo thing, that isn't possible.

  5. Well there isn't really anything, but going for a small trim every 6 - 8 months encourages the hair to grow.

    *Angel*

  6. there are tablets you can get from a docor, but give it time you don't wanna rush, but you seem young so you have to wait ok? its better to wait.

  7. garnier shampoo works really well it has a specail shampoo for length called long and strong...it strengthens and cleans and prevents split ends so your hair can grow long and strong

  8. dont dye your hair it will take even longer but you can get more vitamins and minerals that helps:)

  9. yea DOOGRO (name of shampoo/conditioner) it helped  A LOT it helps hair grow stronger moisturizes it and helps hair grow more fully and come back thicker.. =]

  10. There is^^

You can rub olive oil on your scalp to encourage healthy hair which will contribute to your hair growth. Do your best to stay away from hair irons. Exercise and rink lots of water. About 8 cups a day(I mean actually cups). O and rub your scalp everyday until it feels hot.

You can put mayonnaise in your hair and on your scalp as well, this too encourages healthy hair  and gives good shine and make it soft. Apply to hair and scalp and leave it on for 45 minutes. Then wash it out, if you would rather leave the mayo in your hair overnight then get a shower cap and put your hair inside. Make sure that it isn't too hot in the room because eggs can actually cook on your head.

Massages your scalp with equal portions of warm almond oil and castor oil, at least once a week.

Honey and egg yolk also form a potent blend to stem the rot. Leave it on for a while and then rinse as usual.

  11. Trim it regulary.

    You can't speed it up.

  12. They sell shampoo made for growing out hair, like Pantene Lovely Lengths, I think it's called. I never tried them, but it's something to consider. Getting your hair trimmed often helps, and washing it in cold water.

  13. keep shaving it and it keeps growing faster

  14. You grunt really hard until it starts to grow...

No kidding uhmmm, there is some by pantene especially for growing your hair, i don't use it but my friend does and she loves it and i notice it alot/

  15. just make sure you take very good care of it and have plenty of patience.

  16. apparently spraying per fum etc on your hair makes it grow faster but i wouldn't recommend it

  17. shave your head and it will come back more dense.

  18. eat a lot of food high in protein such as meat, chicken, fish, peanut butter, etc.  also take vitamin E pills and deep condition your hair often.
