  1. You stretch piercings, you don't gauge them.  Gauge is a term of measurement.

Since you did it yourself, I'm going to assume you used a sewing needle, which will be an 18g at the largest.  To get to 16g you will need to go up one size.  2 sizes if you decide you want to go to 14g.

Lip piercings take 6-8 weeks to fully heal, and you shouldn't even think about stretching any piercing until it is about 5 or 6 months old.

Once that time has come, you'll need a steel taper in 16g, and 16g jewelry.

Insert the taper (small end first) and slide it through the hole- do not force it.  You should have no resistance and nothing more than slight stinging.  If you experience any of that, your piercing is not ready to be stretched and you will have to wait a little bit longer.

If you do get the taper slid all the way through without a problem... you then insert the jewelry.

  2. um,

    juss force it through or

get size 18 which is smaller?

and then put 16 so it can slide through;]

    PS,it works like plugs?

  3. You don't want to speed it up.  Properly stretching so you don't tear or cause a blow out or any other trauma takes time and patience.  Generally you wanna wait a month between sizes for smaller gauges.  I guess it's the price you pay for not having it done by a professional.

  4. I don't really know how quickly this will work, and to be honest I don't know how well it would work on a lip piercing, but if you take some tape, electrical or whatever you have  and cut it to fit the stud you have in your lip, every day add a strip of tape and it will stretch it out every slowly every day.

An ex boyfriend did this to his ears and it worked really well.

  5. your pretty stupid for not doing it professionally.....
