How do i handle this delicate situation?

see i had lost my job about 2 months ago, and things are starting to get pretty tight around here. SO latley my son and daughter have been fighting alot but there kids and they will do that once in a while but my daughter hit my son last week and i caught him urinating in her sneaker as retaliation i pulled him to the side and spoke wth him about it but i just bought the sneakers and they where 100 bucks i dont really have the money for another pair of them should i just not tell my daughter and let it slide?

I would say if your son unrinated in her shoes, he has a ton of anger you better get taken care of or it may get a lot worse, is there a school counselor ?

First, why would you buy your daughter $100 shoes to begin with? and would you rather her go to school and be made fun of because she smells like pee.. or would you just wash them?

I would be more concerned about your sons behavior than the shoes. That is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard. I don't spank my kids but if one of them did something like that they would have a very sore bum! Why on earth would he pee in her shoes? What possessed him to do that? I would honestly hope that you disciplined him otherwise whenever he gets mad he is going to start peeing on everything. As for the shoes I would take them to a dry cleaner or a laundrymat that cleans suede and leather and see if they can clean them. If not it looks like you are going to have to buy some less expensive shoes.

If you don't have enough money to get her some new sneakers, then I doubt you have enough money to get him some therapy. Which is what he needs. Normal boys don't urinate in their sister's sneakers. You may want to start saving up for when he begins killing animals.

if you want to get the smell out of the sneakers, try a product called urine be gone - found at linens and things. its for pets and human urine stains and smells.
