Ahh yes... how to have a dessert party that evokes the spirit of the lady who (allegedly) said "qu'ils mangent de la brioche"

I'd start by making it a costume party, with lots of ruffles!  Loud orchestral music in the background, you'll definitely have to serve some Brioche des Rois (recipe link below) and one must finish it off with a Guillotine session!

Guillotine Recipe:

   1 3/4 oz butterscotch schnapps

   Bailey's Irish cream

   Aftershock Hot & Cool cinnamon schnapps

Fill a shot glass about 4/5 of the way full with butterscotch schnapps. Float a layer of bailey's irish cream on the schnapps, and then a layer of aftershock on the bailey's.

Watch the movie first. Try finding a similar costume than to the ones in the movie and serve tea and those little cookies. play that game where you write something on a sheet of paper, l**k it to your forehead, and have everyone guess who/what/where is on your forehead. Hope this helps!
