I play tennis on my high school team. I am currently 3rd seed. My serve is the most inconsistent part of my game. It changes atleast 1 time every week...and is wat usually costs me my matches, even tho i am 8-1 this year so far... something always manages to change, and it never works the same way. So my question is actually 2 questions really...How can i keep my serve more consistent? and how can i hit a better kick/twist serve?

  1. Twist and kick are different.  Kick is a HEAVY topspin serve, and usu. gets mixed up with a a twist serve, which is in between a slice and a kick.  In the kick serve, you brush upwards on the back of the ball, whereas in the twist, you can either go up and right or from 8 o'clock to 2 o'clock.  The twist will jump outwards and jump high, but the kick only jumps up.  Try not to get them confused, as many other people do.
